The automation system designed for the stacking of automotive metal parts at Valeo is built on a Sigma aluminum profile main chassis. The system consists of an X and Z axis motion table driven by stepper motors and belt mechanisms.
This table, controlled by real-time PLC signals, supports a stainless steel stacking tray fixed via holes and pins. Products are precisely and systematically transferred to empty slots by the moving table and fixed tray, based on data received from the production machine.
This integrated solution has ensured high accuracy in part placement and increased production efficiency. Additionally, it has completely eliminated personnel costs associated with the machines.
